Ridge Meadows
Another branch of SOUL has popped up this very early spring in Maple Ridge. We are very excited about helping the community's interest in organic land care to evolve into a garden of knowledge!
Our meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month at the CEED Centre in Maple Ridge (11739 223rd Street) where we are currently transforming sections of this Heritage Building's community garden plot into a permaculture site. SOUL Ridge Meadows executives meet at 7:00pm (all SOUL Members are welcome to join!) and at 7:30pm anyone may join us for whatever fun event we may have going on - from potlucks to an informative speaker, or movie.
Join us on Tuesday, March 23rd at 8:00pm for a half-hour interactive presentation entitled "Stop the Spread" which aims to raise awareness and inform gardening enthusiasts about invasive plants, how horticulture plays a role in their spread, horticulture's most "unwanted" invasive plants and what can be done to stop the spread. Presented by the Invasive Plant Council of BC.
