SOUL is a "bottom-up" organization, run by its members for the benefit of the membership. The role of SOUL Central is to support the branches in their efforts to support their own communities in the transition to organic practices.

Any three members who have the time and resources to organize and run a successful branch complete with Professional Development Group and Organic Garden Club / Organic Master Gardener group may open a SOUL Branch.
